Josef studied at the University of Pretoria and was admitted as attorney in 2002. He joined the firm in 2004 as a Professional Assistant in the third party and personal injury claims department. Josef was appointed a partner in 2007.

He is currently specialising in property law and commercial law, and also assists with the registration of trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property related matters.
